KAGOWA KURUNERI (KAYE)
Having first joined the firm as a Paralegal, Kaye was promoted to Trainee Solicitor in November 2016 and became a fully qualified Solicitor in October 2018 when she was admitted to the roll.
Kaye completed her Legal Studies Degree at the University of Waterloo in Canada in 2013 and then her Law Degree at the University of Kent in Canterbury in 2015. She then completed the Legal Practice Course at City University of London in 2016. During this time she has served as Secretary of the Kent Law Temple Society and actively participated in pro-bono legal clinics in both Canterbury and London, which offered support and advice on housing, contract and employment issues.
Kaye has worked in the private client department and gained experience in Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney and probate matters. Kaye is a member of our formidable employment team and she assists Sarah and Susanne with a variety of employment issues. Kaye is an invaluable asset to the team with her legal research skills which are always spot on.
During her free time Kaye enjoys pushing her culinary skills by trying out different recipes from around the world. When she has the time to travel she enjoys visiting countries that are ripe with heritage sites, rich in cultural architecture or offer endless adventure through hiking, kayaking and other forms outdoor expeditions. She also always manages to include some wine tasting or two!
