At Garden House Solicitors, we believe in supporting the communities we serve and we’re proud to share that we have recently made a donation to Kernow Young Carers, a remarkable service dedicated to young people across Cornwall who take on caring responsibilities at home.

Young carers often shoulder far more than many of us realise, supporting parents, siblings or relatives with physical or mental health needs, disabilities or substance related challenges. These responsibilities can affect every aspect of their daily life, from school and social activities to their own wellbeing.

Kernow Young Carers works tirelessly to ensure these children and young people receive the support, guidance and recognition they deserve.

Run in partnership with Barnardo’s, CRCC (Cornwall Rural Community Charity) and other valued community organisations, Kernow Young Carers provides essential resources such as respite activities, emotional support, practical advice and a safe space for young carers to connect with others who understand their experiences. Their work makes a profound difference, helping young carers feel seen, supported and empowered.
